Murray State, Oklahoma State, UNLV Play Role of Headliners in 2010 Field

Coach Travis FordButler’s historic run to the NCAA Championship game had an auspicious beginning in Anaheim, Calif., last November, when the Bulldogs were part of the 2009 field. The eight teams participating this year—five of which saw postseason action last season—will look to model their season’s start to that of the Bulldogs’ historic Thanksgiving weekend run at the Anaheim Convention Center. Cal State Northridge, DePaul, Murray State, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Tulsa, UNLV and Virginia Tech complete the eight-team field for the fourth annual 76 Classic, which will feature four games each day through three days, Nov. 25, 26 and 28. The event will have a tournament feel for 2010 NCAA Tournament participants Murray State, Oklahoma State and UNLV, whose aggregate record last season was an impressive 78-25. MORE
